Budermin House: Luxury Buderim Living with Capral Aluminium Window and Door Systems

Buderim House is a luxury family home in Buderim on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, designed around natural light, spacious living and a strong connection to the outdoors. A selection of Capral aluminium window, door and framing systems was used throughout the home, including the Urban Plus 393 Louvre, AGS Commercial 900 Series Sliding Door, AGS 400 Narrowline and Urban Plus 397 Hinged Door. 

Located in Buderim on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, 4 Gosford Court was designed around spacious family living and indoor-outdoor connection. Expansive glazing, high ceilings and a north-facing alfresco overlooking the pool were key features of the residence. TMG Construction delivered the project, with Elite Windows & Doors responsible for manufacturing and installing the aluminium windows and doors. 

A combination of Capral aluminium systems was selected for the different applications throughout the home. The Urban Plus 393 Louvre was used across the upstairs office and lounge, bathrooms, bedrooms and dining areas, providing adjustable natural ventilation. The louvre blades could be adjusted to control airflow, providing ventilation across the home’s different living spaces. 

The AGS 400 Narrowline was also used throughout the residence, with different glazing configurations featured across the home. The framing was used alongside the louvres, with larger panel sizes incorporated in the bedrooms and smaller windows used in the living areas.  

The AGS Commercial 900 Series Sliding Door was a key feature of the main living area, creating a large opening onto the north-facing alfresco and pool. Its expansive panels and flush sill provided a seamless transition between the living space and outdoors. 

The Urban Plus 397 Hinged Door was featured in the laundry, with its smooth flat-panel profiles providing a contemporary finish that complemented the home’s other Capral aluminium systems. 

The Capral aluminium window and door systems also brought established performance credentials to the project. The Urban Plus 393 Louvre, AGS Commercial 900 Series Sliding Door, AGS 400 Narrowline and Urban Plus 397 Hinged Door were BAL-40 tested and acoustic rated, with Declare Label certification also available across the selected systems. 

The completed residence was quickly sold after coming to market. From the large living area opening onto the pool and alfresco to the use of louvres throughout the home, the design created a practical family home with plenty of natural light, ventilation and space for indoor and outdoor living.
